THE BOY WHO LIED?

'The Daily Prophet was able to hold an exclusive interview with Cornelius Fudge today, the Minister for Magic taking time out of his busy schedule to speak to the wizarding world's BEST newspaper. We spoke to him about the recent rumours flying from Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. "Utter garbage!" Fudge told us immediately. "You-Know-Who has been gone for a long time, and reports of his return are ridiculous stories thanks to that Potter boy." We asked him how he felt about the teenaged wizard who once defied He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. "I've met him a few times, but he's got an arrogant side to him that should be hidden. These stories make me wonder if that scar has addled with his brain. Dumbledore is falling for his lies though, that man believes anyone."

Will Dumbledore believe Harry for much longer? Stay posted to the Daily Prophet! Interview continues on page 6.'

And lucky Harry doesn't lose his head in a crisis - "there's no wood", honestly.

Hermione snatched the newspaper. "What the hell?" Why would anyone do that?

"Ach for Merlin's sake!" Ginny glared. "Fudge is the nutter, I have a right mind to go hex him the next time I see him. How can dad stand working for him??"

"Your permission," scoffed Ginny. "Since when did you give me permission to do anything?"

Hermione laughed, "Yes Ginevra. For once I'll have to agree with you," she shrugged though, after. "I guess people are just like that. You might be working for a Death Eater or something in the future. Okay, okay Ginny calm down. I'm sorry."

She sighed. Wait 'til Harry hears about this.

Ron put away the newspaper, kicking it roughly under the table. "I wouldn't worry too much about it, Hermione. This isn't the first stuff they've been spewing, and the war isn't even begun."

"I am aware of that, Ronald, but really, you wouldn't want this things said about you to the whole world every day, would you?" Hermione shivered at the thought. "It would be terrible. It's terrible for Harry."
